We are an international online school of German, where adults can learn German 1-1 or in pairs. Our mission is to help people around the World learn German in the most efficient and fun way, and every day we're researching and evaluating the most powerful methods to help them do it.
We are looking for a talented and empathetic German tutor who would like to grow together with our international team, and help English-speaking students fall in love with German language.
Role Description
This is a part-time remote role. The candidate would be responsible for teaching lessons on our virtual platform, following the school's guidelines. The school provides all the materials, you wouldn't have to design your own lessons or spend hours preparing for the class.
Responsibilities:
1. Work according to our methodology and teaching materials. Training will be provided before starting work.
2. Provide detailed feedback on the students' speaking sessions, following our guidelines. Check the students' writing and speaking homework on the platform.
3.Participating in school's monthly meetings, sharing feedback on the materials, what works and what doesn't. We are a creative team, where teacher's opinions matter and you will get an opportunity to suggest changes, which will contribute to the learning process of hundreds of students.
Requirements:
1. German language proficiency at least at level B2. Certificates would be an advantage.
2. Excellent communication skills, the ability to clearly explain complex concepts and stimulate active student participation in the learning process.
3.Emotional intelligence and an ability to work with students in an empathetic and supportive way. Learning another language may be stressful for students, so, we are looking for professionals, who would be willing to facilitate their experience.
4.Experience in teaching German is a big plus. However, we do encourage young teachers with no prior experience to apply and join our onboarding program, where we teach the methodology of the course and how to work with adults. Based on the results of the final exam, successful candidates will be given an offer.

? All lessons are conducted online on the interactive platform. Our team works remotely in different parts of the world: from Buenos Aires to Seoul.
