Skoltech Vladimir Zelman Center for Neurobiology and Brain Rehabilitation is seeking for a Research Engineer.
The project deals with the development of invasive and non-invasive corticospinal and peripheral interfaces, with the use of biomarker monitoring, for neurorehabilitation of motor functions and pain control.
Responsibilities:

Development of algorithms for controlling external devices based on physiological signals;
-
Generation of hypotheses and ideas for processing and interpretation of physiological data;
-
Technical support of experiments in a team with neurophysiologists within the framework of biomedical projects, control of execution, interpretation of results;
-
Writing scientific articles, patent applications, grant applications, documentation, preparing presentations and reports.
Requirements:
-
Higher technical education;
-
Fluently read and understand technical documentation and scientific literature in English;
-
Know the basics of mathematical statistics;
-
Know Python and scientific libraries (Numpy, SciPy, Pandas, scikit-learn);
-
Able to use digital signal processing algorithms;
-
Know PyTorch;
-
Have an understanding of ML specifics: Deep learning and other subsets of artificial intelligence training and tuning neural networks, classifiers, signal processing, computer vision;

Know basic algorithms and data structures.
