Major Responsibilities:
- Performance of the plan of sales on the fixed distributors
- Conducting direct negotiations and making contracts with clients.
- Develop and obtain approval of effective and efficient distribution schemes in order to achieve the sales targets in volume and value
- Coordinate, with Key Account Managers, Trade and District Manager’s the product flow to ensure sales targets of the various territories are reached
- Evaluate and propose distributors by ranking these based product and channel specialization, regional power and network services that they can render. Obtain the necessary approvals to begin commercial activities
- Control preparation and signing of commercial and tender contracts with the assigned distributors and/or trade chains on market. Ensure tenders terms negotiated with distributors are followed. Develop and maintain a centralized filing system on the current and executed commercial contracts
- Develop and maintain effective business relations with wholesalers; participate in negotiations with the customers on payments, deliveries, discounts ensuring Abbott policies and procedures are followed
- Ensure Distributor adheres to credit terms and that Days sales outstanding (DSO) are within those negotiated
- Evaluate and propose implementation of the methods aimed to decrease of credit schemes risks (bank guarantees, etc.)
- Monitor Distributor stocks and continuously negotiate with distributors for getting from them relevant timely orders
- Work closely with the Marketing team in channel and pricing analysis to maximize profitability
- Control the timely and accurate preparation of production forecast planning/ordering.
- Ensure all strategic and action items adhere to Abbott’s Code of Business Conduct and comply with local law and policies/procedures in the relevant function areas. Coordinate contracts with OEC.
- Main requirements:
- University diploma
- A minimum of 2 years of Pharmaceutical industry commercial experience
- High level of motivation
- Initiative, strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Ability to build/adhere to timelines
- English — intermediate
