We offer position in flagship Moscow Store, Khimki. As Deputy BNOM VAPS Store you use knowledge of the IKEA business and the local market and work together with the store teams to steer the store towards overcoming country results, finding new innovations, stimulating entrepreneurship within co-workers.
You work in an inspiring, supportive and challenging way that is in line with the IKEA objectives and values. You always take a multi-dimensional view in work and consider all customer, commercial, people, financial and operational perspectives.
Main assignments:
· Actively contributing to the development of the IKEA store business plan and ensuring it is aligned with IKEA global directions, the country's priorities and local potential.
· Achieving growth and sustained long-term profitability while keeping our customers in focus.
· Having a full overview of the profit and loss (P&L) for the store and understanding how different actions impact the different lines in the P&L.
· Work together with the commercial team, shopkeepers and IKEA Food to broaden our commercial and financial knowledge, in order to maximise the commercial opportunities in our local market.
· Be seen by co-workers in all functions as an approachable, trustworthy and knowledgeable speaking partner who leads by example.
· Actively lead and develop co-operation across all areas of the store, through working closely together, sharing knowledge and showing understanding of each other's responsibilities in order to achieve our objectives.
· To be proactive in cooperation with Service Office functional managers in order to maintain and improve operational standards in the store.
Requirements:
· Previous IKEA management experience.
· Proven analytical and numerical skills.
· Experience of setting and implementing action plans, setting budgets, providing clear direction and following up goals.
· Ability to quickly develop knowledge of the local market and business conditions and take commercial decisions based on this information.
· Open minded and actively seeks out new ways of working.
· Ability to read and understand written English and spoken English.
