B2C Product manager KFC
As a B2C Product lead at KFC, you will be responsible for launching product initiatives focused on the consumer. In this role, you will collaborate closely with senior management, designers, analysts, marketing, operations, developers, and other cross-functional team members within the organization to ensure that our products amaze and delight our customers. You also will play a key role in building up the company’s B2C road map. More specifically, your key responsibilities will include the following:
- Lead design and delivery of strategic product initiatives for consumers and their successful releases and improvements
- Write user narratives to imagine the experience a customer may have and to translate that into requirements for products, UX/UI at all key customer touch points, marketing, pricing, etc.
- Define, document, and communicate objectives, requirements and constraints for product initiatives and releases, quantify potential and economics of products and services, prioritize initiatives
- Collaborate with designers and developers to define detailed requirements and features for the products and their support, define implementation time lines and communication plans, and all aspects to introduce new products and services as well as for introducing improvements in existing products, services, and customer touch points
- Develop a comprehensive time line of product and service improvements, track implementation, communicate development status and document progress toward milestones, prioritize and sequence key initiatives
- Perform market research and analysis to understand customer behaviour and identify key areas of improvement in products, features, pricing, customer experience touch points
- Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to develop product introduction and distribution plans
In your position as Product lead in the first 2-3 months of joining KFC, we would see the following key priorities:
- Understand the existing products and customer experience and identify road map for improvement
- Develop & Position: product discovery, develop personal and user journey, road map, KPI & success metrics.
- Product leadership: Start executing the Product improvement plan. Measure, and show early wins and improvements.
- Develop key B2C product development/introduction plan to be agreed by the Board for 2018
