Title : Senior Sales Representative Department : TDW Eurasia Direct manager’s position: Territory Manager Department head : Senior Director, regional Sales and Operation, Eurasia
Mission: Develop and implement approved sales & marketing strategies for all products & services in an effort to achieve the sales and profitability goals of the assigned territory, while remaining within budget limitations.
Accountabilities:
Sales development & execution (70%):
- Develops and executes sales strategies that deliver profitable growth in the assigned territories for all products/services, according to the business plan, with emphasis on achieving the greatest possible sales volume and margins;
- Achieves annual sales budget by proactively identifying business opportunities, developing, negotiating and closing commercial deals with new or existing customers,
- Develops and maintains an ongoing, effective key account program that provides management with measurable goals, objectives, strategies, tactics, programs, and other pertinent information on selected key account customers;
- Develops, maintains and monitors a network of distributors and representatives, if appropriate, and recommends adjustments to third parties’ sales/marketing strategies and action plans as necessary,
- Works closely with Product Sales Managers to develop marketing programs designed to give TDW a position of leadership within the industry, and implements such programs in the territory;
- Monitors the execution of customers orders and enforces delivery when necessary, ensures all customers’ complaints are addressed;
- Plans TDW participation in trade association meetings/fairs and represents the company to promote products and services
- Monitors accounts receivables and follow up with customers for payment delays,
- Operates as Office Manager if required, and ensures administrative tasks are handled to keep records of appropriate correspondence and requests and to maintain current information on sales activities;
Strategic watch & reporting (30%):
- Develops and maintains strategic market intelligence of competition’s product/service offerings, ensures the information is shared within the organization and recommends changes to maintain a competitive position,
- Prepares all necessary reports, forecasts and other reports as requested by the management in a timely and accurate manner, with input from the sales team, representatives and distributors;
Others:
Relationships with others:
- Reports to the Territory Manager, TDW Eurasia ;
- Works closely with the Inside Sales departments of the centers of excellence, Operations and Project Managers;
- Liaises with other TDW entities to keep updated on TDW products & services capabilities and development,
- Maintains strong partnership with all customers in the territory and more specifically with the POCs.
Customer Orientation:
- Keeps regular contact with our customers to remain updated on all issues and challenges in order to understand their needs and proactively identify any additional business opportunity,
- Ensures that all customers’ requests are treated correctly and within the deadlines,
- Ensures that appropriate information is given to the different internal department.
Knowledge, skills & abilities required:
- Commercial and/or engineering master degree, with min 3 years experience in sales/business development,
- Knowledge of the Pipeline and/or Oil& Gas industry in the assigned territory,
- Good commercial and interpersonal skills,
- Ability to deal and negotiate at high level,
- Supervisory experience preferred,
- Fluent in English and Russian, any other language is an asset.
Magnitude:
- Annual sales budget: 3-10 million $
