As a Senior Sales Manager you are comfortable navigating in the wholesale mobile world and negotiating complex commercial agreements, able to identify and close lucrative deals. You poses substantial experience & understanding of the international Mobile and peering environment system, dynamics and politics.You enjoy formulating flexible sales models according to competitive, geographic and regulatory parameters and report on sales activity against agreed targets and fully understanding of business financials
Additionally, you ensure a profitable, growing revenue stream and strategic business development focused on mobile enabling services and ensure high level of customer satisfaction at all levels.
As a key member of a global team, you will help to develop and manage new partner opportunities in CIS Region that consists of countries where Russian is the main language spoken.
- Partner liaison or principal point of contact between various internal groups within the Global operation and sales team
- Create and execute tailored partner programs to increase awareness and drive sales of Mobile wholesale services in your regions
- To take responsibility for the development and leadership of large complex sales opportunities within Regional Group Mobile Operators
- Fully understanding of business financials
- Strong financial performance within the context of business structures and operations
- Building flexible sales models according to competitive, geographic and regulatory parameters
- Generate, qualify, develop and convert existing & new business, by building effective relationships to ensure ongoing profitable business
- To cooperate and be resourceful on ad hoc sales related projects instigated by sales management
- Generate desire and interest within the client/prospect so that sales presentations can be made.
- Develop business relationships in the short, medium term and long term, developing appropriate contact strategies matching client/prospect, industry & offering
- Take responsibility for the development of a portfolio of suspects & prospects in order to initiate the selling process (i.e. define needs, compelling events, culture).
- Identify prospect’s key decision makers in accordance with selling process
- Mastermind proposal submission process, & oversee proficiently the sales packaging & input of all documentation through to signature so that the deal comes to fruition
- Collaborate with other verticals wherever opportunities exist, especially in regions where there is no physical presence
In addition to these responsibilities you should enjoy meeting daily challenges and have high competencies of making powerful decisions in particular:
- Working autonomously & being a team player at the same time
- Extensive travel involved to meet customers and attend sales venues, conferences as required by management
- Continually reviewing progress / obstacles & report on sales activity against agreed targets
- Keeping knowledge of market, industry standards, competitive offerings & new technologies up-to-date
- Identifying the business drivers behind solutions & build compelling propositions
- Remaining customer-focused & motivated
- Decide how best to grow the business in line with senior management guidelines.
- Decide which opportunities within a prospect are outside own sales channel & hand over to appropriate ICSS sales channel
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent preferred
- Experience in sales of Mobile Enabling services, IPX, Sigtran, Diameter, messaging hubs, messaging and signalling and firewalls to individual Mobile Operators, Groups and where necessary Government Ministries for firewalls.
- A strong and well established background in wholesale mobile roaming dynamics and international telecommunications is essential.
- Solid wholesale experience in a Telco / Mobile environment
- Competency in all MS Applications
- Driving Licence
- Well organized with a methodical approach
- Advances in writing and spoken English and Russian
