Here at InterContinental Moscow Tverskaya, we have a fantastic opportunity for a person with intellectual curiosity and high level of self-motivation to join us as a Corporate Sales Manager.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- You will establish client base of individuals, organizations, and/or corporate businesses through direct outside and inside selling to secure business for the hotel to ensure that room night sales and revenue goals are met or exceeded.
- You will actively prospect and qualify new business, produce and/or review all sales contracts, rate agreements while monitor and handle inquiry calls and provide client proposals in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures.
- You will arrange and conduct special events, site inspections, and off-site presentations for potential clients and produce monthly sales-related reports and sales forecasts for assigned area of responsibility.
- You will attend and represent hotel at trade shows and conventions and participate in sales trips.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- This role requires 2 years of sales and marketing related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior hotel sales experience is strongly preferred.
- Fluent oral and written Russian and English, strong communication skills, knowledge of Opera are expected.
- Mathematical skills, including basic math, budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages, and variances are utilized frequently.
- Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities are used often.
