Role Summary/Purpose
The role will have primary responsibilities for Ultrasound(US) product strategies that improve market access with RCIS government and commercial payers and providers.
Essential Responsibilities
- Being accountable for the access component of Operation Plan plan within US areas
- Collaborating with key US stakeholders to ensure the market access strategy alignment and implementation
- Identifying and analyzing changes in the US market environment to determine the implications for the corporation
- Participating in public affairs strategy implementation
- Provide strategic input with qualitative and quantitative information to support US lobbying efforts and legislative initiatives, including working closely with key industry trade associations and medical societies
- Assure representation at all key US relevant meetings engaging product management, health economics, medical affairs, regulatory, compliance and other internal staff as needed
- Attend and represent business at relevant scientific, clinical, government and commercial payer policy meetings as a component of implementing priority US strategy.
- Develop and implement communication strategy to keep internal "customers" regularly informed about product specific US issues
- Arrange together with US sales educational programs for specialists and healthcare authorities in the region
- Develop, influence and monitor payer policy and regulation, working directly with scientific, clinical, government and commercial payer authorities relevant to US
- Develop and lead business processes that assess and inform the business to potential payer policies and regulations that impact commercial growth expectations.
- Serve as "content-expert" on US product & opportunities for General Imaging, Woman Health and Cardio Vascular US products.
- Work cross-functionally within field sales, sales management, strategic accounts, and marketing to maximize pull-through and leverage available resources
- Provide market feedback to corporate management on customer business trends, competitive updates and industry issues and opportunities
- Serve as a strategic business partner with field sales leadership to establish priorities in regional work plan for physician education and the identification of coverage expansion opportunities through frequent communication and quarterly business reviews
- Participate in regional and national sales meetings as needed
- Travel with field sales team members to support and educate customers with identified challenges and to gain support for US education strategies through policy and/or clinical guideline development
Qualifications/Requirements
- Medical Bachelor's Degree required. Advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in medical device or pharmaceutical sector
- Relevant experience including both national and regional roles in market access at least 3 years
- English - Intermediate (both written and oral)
- Advanced PC user
- Strong and deep knowledge and understanding of Russian medical market
- In-depth knowledge of Russian healthcare system and Market Access decision making
- Very strong Market Access and Health Economics networking
- Profound knowledge of Russian country specific Market Access regulation, process and requirements.
- Willing to act decisively in an uncertain environment
- Demonstrated ability to be successful in consultative selling situations/markets
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
