Role Summary/Purpose
Field Marketing Manager Bioprocess, Life Sciences coordinates and manages some marketing elements for a geography or solutions portfolio, including Voice Of Customer gathering and marketing plan development. Field Marketing Manager Bioprocess, Life Sciences contributes to the growth of the geography or solutions portfolio(s) by contributing to and executing the marketing plans, new product development and current portfolio evolution.
Essential Responsibilities
- Developing qualitative & quantitative insights about the needs, want and performance of customers, contributing to a specific marketing plan, and championing the geography internally and externally;
- Using market research to identify market and adjacent opportunities, integrate competitive intelligence into marketing planning;
- Working with product and global marketing to supply regional sales forces with product positioning, training materials, brochures, and other tools required for execution of growth objectives adapting these to local market needs as necessary;
- Contributing to market forecasts and business case for product/upgrades that are at concept stage and developing price-value map trends;
- Understanding customer’s needs as well as values and benefits sought for the product/service offering;
- Helping to assess modality portfolio competitiveness and drive clear product positioning via the execution of marketing communications plans;
- Supporting the development of global marketing plan and value proposition;
- Implementing regional segmentation strategy;
- Managing processes and programs to increase customer awareness, preference, and purchase intent (e.g. lead generation campaigns);
- Contributing to the Growth Playbook and support activity of regional/operational marketing teams and ensuring alignment with global marketing plan;
- Monitoring metrics and operating mechanisms to ensure achievement of business objectives (e.g. leading generation programs, trade show management, etc.).
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field;
- At least 5 years of experience in marketing, product marketing or related field;
- Marketing experience in market and customer insights, product commercialization and branding;
- Healthcare product/industry acumen; Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Strong analytical and process skills.
- Innovation – ability to develop/execute on new ideas through collaboration;
- Team oriented – ability to work well with diverse, cross-functional teams.
