- Acting as the face of the sport, responsible for developing the influencer activation plan to accelerate sell-through, and implement brand strategies by coordinating a team of external brand ambassadors.
- The role’s primary focus is to build a vibrant ambassador community, which drives consumer-facing events such as community activities, demos, clinics, sports events and partnerships.
Key Responsibility Areas
- Coordinate the ambassadors community on a daily basis (key contact person, coordinate all the AMB trainings, foster contact to AMB and visit them regularly)
- Be the Face of the Brand towards influencers, partners, event, federations, institutions, etc.
- Negotiate partnerships with external organizer and brands (co-branding program)
- Implement the consumer / influencer / grassroots strategies of the brand/sport
- Coordinate the community of brand ambassadors to implementing consumer-facing events program and will be on-site if required during “best” events (i.e. own sponsored events, events with PP, etc.)
- Create, activate and grow influencers community
- Coordinate incremental social media / viral activation (in coordination with digital marketing manager) thru ambassadors
- Be an active part of the IMM / Ambassador community, sharing and using best practices
- Ensure the quality of the toolbox delivered by brand and used by influencers
- Ensure the quality of the implementation of the toolbox by ambassadors
- Ensure cooperation with and consumer activation in line with our B2C Retail team
- Ensure feedback to Marketing Team & Territory Commercial manager
- Ensure cooperation with Area Sales manager’s, National Account Manager’s to support customers with content from community
- Track and analyze the performance of our campaigns and strategic collaborations on a weekly basis
- Manage AP&E budget
Capabilities
- Leadership skills, especially in terms of providing guidance and/or communicate strategy/mission to external vendors/agents, being the face of brand and being the contact for community of ambassadors (20-40)
- Coordination skills and organizational skills (managing a team of vendors/agents)
- Influencing skills and ability to bring others to your way of thinking without force or coercion; enlisting others’ support and assistance in influencing others building agreement and cooperation and a unified sense of purpose, particularly in approaching others and trying to persuade them as well.
- Strong motivational skill
- Excellent understanding of social media landscape, digital savvy
- Excellent communication skills (speaking and writing)
- Strong negotiation skills and networking skills, good at communicating and connecting at all levels, can build strong partnerships and knows how to navigate within the matrix. Able to communicate ideas, thoughts, concepts clearly.

Education & Experience
- 4+ years’ experience in the specific sports community or overall Marketing environment, strong background of the consumer & influencing area
- degree in Marketing or similar relevant field is benefical
- Has gained first experience managing external vendors
- Presented to large audiences (i.e. trainings, product, strategy) and is able to adjust presentation to need of audiences
- Planning, direction and evaluation of events
- understands “how social media” works and is able to manage and coordinate social media activities
- Sport Expert & Enthusiast
- Active sport participant at an experienced level (in his sports)
- Understands necessity to respect and align processes and activities with local and legal regulations, able to transfer theoretical frameworks and legal concepts to actual situations.

- Connected with their sport & community (i.e. either Running, WSE)
- Sport specific Events, Athletes, Clubs, Coaches, Federation, Programs, etc.
