Key Accountabilities:
Responsible for leading the technical side of new licence acquisition, based on the results of the regional projects.
Responsible for delivery of key Exploration Common Process (ECP) products related to both the recently completed regional projects and current licence-specific technical work, for presentation and submission to the Function and/or Exploration Assurance.
Provides technical leadership and coaching of Russia-based Exploration staff
Essential experience and job requirements: Degree or Masters in Geoscience
Strong technical skills in all areas of Exploration Common Process through to early appraisal, including worked examples of regional evaluation programmes and prospect inventory generation.
Strong project management skills and good at building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders and contractors.
Minimum of 10 years industry experience working primarily in Exploration.
Experience of exploring non-marine and marginal marine clastic systems, ideally in Russia
Strong working knowledge of Petrel (or similar) Interpretation software
