Are you our next Tax specialist?
- Verification of data provided by the Controllership for tax returns (VAT, profit and property tax): VAT-selective control of data and testing on the software VAT tool; profit tax - selective verification (test ratio), verification of normalized costs (calculations provided by Controllership). Upload and send returns via electronic communication channels with tax authorities
- Regular communication with the tax authorities on the various questions including submitted returns including preparation of written explanations for cases when due to system limitations there are inconsistencies with the database settings in the tax authorities.
- Support of cameral tax audits (8 cameral audits (4 VAT and 4 profit tax + explanations of discrepancies between the VAT and profit databases and any requests from Tax authority related to the returns), includes: VAT - work with the Controllership on the gaps between the data of sales books and purchases with suppliers/customers (customers); profit tax – explanations on the identified reflected in the profit tax return and data obtained by the tax authorities from other sources (for example, calculations on social taxes, financial statements); explanations of the differences between the databases on VAT and profit tax in terms of sales and non-operating income (differences formed due to differences in the formation of bases on VAT and profit tax + identification of possible technical errors). Giving explanations, participation in commissions (for an explanation of the documents, returns, calculations). Preparation of written explanations in accordance with the requirements of the Tax Code.
- Support of counter-checks (counterparty checks: buyers/suppliers). To provide explanations, it is necessary to understand the current of the official tax authorities and the Ministry of Finance comments and the current judicial practice. Preparation of written explanations in accordance with the requirements of the Tax code.
- Conducting tax reconciliations between tax authorities ' databases and data in accounting systems (basic communication with tax authorities) and timely receipt of data from the Controllership. Tracking the timeliness of calculations with the budget (preparation of calculations on terms and amounts for accounting).
- Update of the company's tax policies considering changes in legislation. Coordination of changes with accounting and coordination of accounting policy from of tax standpoint. Participation in the development and implementation of separate accounting for VAT and transfer pricing.
- Tracking of certificates of action of the channel of exchange of documents with tax authorities, interaction with the operator of communication.
- Archiving of documents related to tax authorities (returns, explanations, calculations, letters, explanations, etc.))
- Support for TAX team projects (EMEA and WW) (systematization of current reports, tracking deadlines, sending and collecting data from the Tax team and preparation of common reports and reviews within the framework of tasks at the EMEA).
- Check and send notifications on transactions with group companies.
- Meeting and giving explanations to the auditors in respect of tax risks.
- Project involvements (current projects): HP CP (registration and accounting for tax purposes (VAT and profit tax); transition to a new ERP; simplify project; process cards (for accounting areas, including tax related questions); tax benefits and services non-taxable VAT (warranty repair; R&D).
- Support of processes related to the liquidation of the group's companies.
- Monitoring of changes in tax legislation (frequent changes), monitoring of letters from the Ministry of Finance and the Federal tax service on tax matters, preparation of reviews regarding the company's activities.
- Participation in meetings on taxation (preparation of recommendations), verification of contracts in terms of tax risks (preparation of recommendations).
- Interaction with tax authorities in the process of on-site tax audits.
- Support of processes related to the liquidation of the group's companies.
