This is Vendor role in Services of Microsoft
General Purpose:
- Development & execution of complex cross-segment marketing plan to achieve Microsoft sales targets (annually/ quarterly) in the geography. This marketer focuses on creating demand with partners and translating opportunities into billed revenue by working closely with sales teams; knows how to plan, execute and optimize digital and traditional marketing tactics, and align our partners’ marketing to deliver against Microsoft priorities in the geography. This role pro-actively engages and ready's our Partners and ensures strong Cloud modern marketing/digital marketing plans, aligned to the Customer Journey, are in place. They will balance global and local execution requirements and develop effective marketing strategies in partnership with other marketing departments to optimize the To-Customer and Thu-Partner marketing impact.
- Deliver impactful ROMI based marketing execution with focus on demand / new leads generation and sales support.
- Drive innovative approaches in marketing activity planning, execution and measurement within Digital Transformation strategy.
Main Responsibility Areas:
- Lead development, execution and efficiency assessment of complex Microsoft marketing plan in Central region, aligned with global Microsoft marketing guidelines, local business priorities and IT market landscape specifics.
- Lead consolidated Microsoft cross-segment marketing mix planning, incl. co-marketing with Microsoft business partners and customers to achieve account sales targets in key segments and channels (annually/ quarterly).
- Marketing planning with partners & activity execution through partners: Aid partners in developing joint modern marketing/digital marketing plans with key identified strategic Cloud partners and programmatically engaging with remaining focused partners; collaborate with Partners Marketing department to develop a joint marketing plan for focused target audience. Land execution of marketing pilots and programs especially for cloud-ready partners.
- Lead effectiveness evaluation of marketing initiatives and further action plan on efficiency improvement with strong focus on ROMI approach.
- Lead digital transformation of marketing execution in the region including joint marketing campaigns planning, execution and measurement with key local partners / resellers. Drive partner’s marketing impact in “Cloud” by building their digital marketing capabilities (social, web, mobile, search) and usage of the customer journey.
- Close collaborate with local and Moscow headquarters sales, product, marketing teams and business units (DX, F&C, etc.) to contribute to quarterly game plan developments and execution within annual sales & marketing strategy, as well as knowledge sharing within the team.
- Responsible for all financial documentation processing for marketing activities in the geography.
- Responsible for delivering all marketing reporting and analytics in the geography.
Competencies:
- Min 3 years of relevant experience (B2B marketing in IT industry or sales / tech role with proven results.
- Digital marketing (social, search, mobile, web) expertise welcomed.
- Deep ecosystem & market insight, including the competitor landscape.
- Knowledge of partner business models, experience in partner marketing and track record successful marketing projects (channel marketing, digital marketing, event management)
- Strong negotiation and networking skills
- Excellent business acumen, understanding of relationship between marketing activities and sales impact, ability to see one holistic picture for the account.
- Ability to come up with initiatives, develop new approaches and solutions
- Good analytical skills
- Strong team player
