MISSION
Nielsen Sports Development Manager primary responsibility is to ensure that a business unit is meeting goals that contribute to the overall success of a company. This is a brand new position for newly created business unit that has broad range responsibilities: from analyzing market trends, actively searching for new Clients, to creating and implementing strategies to reach targets.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Generate new revenue growth by building partnership relationships with Right-holders, Sponsors, Sport Clubs, Media Agencies
- Define product requirements & specifications – data visualization, reporting needs, functionality, etc. for potential domestic Russian product offerings
- Generate ad hoc media custom research, and insights by utilizing various Nielsen Sports data sets and functional support areas
- Promote Nielsen Sports solutions and services by participating in Nielsen owned&industrial public events
- Lead as coordinating force between analytical, operations and consulting Nielsen Sports teams based in Cologne and Russia
MAJOR INTERFACES:
Internal: CPG and RV teams, Nielsen Sports Cologne, Practices
External: Betting companies, airlines, sport clubs, banks, etc.
MAIN OBJECTIVES 2019
- Deliver incremental revenue via new and existing Clients
- Support localization of Nielsen Sports operations: proposal preparation, translation
- Support CBP community with trainings on Nielsen Sports solutions
- Support MarCom with adaptation of Nielsen sports websites, articles, blog to Russian market
- Be Nielsen Sports spokesperson on external events
REQUIREMENTS:
- Be passionate about Sports and be aware what is going on with sports in Russia and worldwide
- Level of English language knowledge from upper-intermediate (80% of colleagues are not based in Russia)
- Possess entrepreneurship mindset and approach - able to execute tasks by himself when required.
- Be familiar with how sponsorship eco-system works (e.g. UEFA financial fair play, media value, sponsorship rights activation)
- Proven track record of B2B sales market (3-5 years experience in agency or consulting)
- Analytical mind
- Good presentation skills, sociability
- Very good command of English and Russian languages, knowledge of German is welcome
