About the job:
The purpose of the role is to take accountability for leading a team of specialists (Service Fulfilment Operations Developers or Service Fulfilment Operations Specialists) to secure a high-performing organisation in the market service fulfilment network including:
· Daily operations for services connected to internal and external service partners
· Operational excellence
· Efficiency and continuous improvement
· Short and mid-term capacities
· Cost development and contribution to the cost goal
· Lead-time development
· Sustainability
Assignments:
· Accountable for assigned team's performance to secure a high performing daily operations connected to service fulfilment on the market including planning, execution and follow up of operations, relevant negotiations, legal compliance with a focus on quality and a customer-centric, collaborative mind-set in all touchpoints for the lowest possible cost
· Accountable for assigned team's performance to secure short-, mid-term and long-term development of existing service partners and that all internal and external service partners have the knowledge to perform their tasks to represent IKEA well and provide an excellent quality in the meeting with the customer.
· Contribute with both knowledge and resources to optimal multichannel development and tendering activities as well as to all matrices, global initiatives and competence networks based on both internal and external sources. External sources for example: work with universities, external partner networks, and market workgroups.
Requirements:
· Good business understanding: understanding of key performance measurement used
· Very good knowledge supply chain, warehousing operations and service business leading to an excellent customer fulfilment
· Very good understanding of the customer and co-worker needs, demands and expectations on the markets
· Good knowledge of market/industry intelligence: applies market/industry knowledge to achieve organisational goals and objectives; understanding of KPIs used for success measures for own function; understanding of market specifics when making decisions
· Good knowledge of change management and leading in the unknown/exploring
· Good knowledge of different leadership styles (such as interdependent, indirect, situational etc.) and needs as well as appropriate use for different situations
· Stakeholder management: good knowledge of how to identify and involve relevant stakeholders in a project, process or question to make things happen
· Vendor management: evaluating and monitoring vendor performance, ensuring that contract terms are followed, managing contract changes, negotiation technics
· Good financial competence
· Ready to often traveling
· Learning agility
· Fluent English
· Analytical skills
· Warehouse experience is will be additional benefit
