BCS Global Markets: International Payments provides clients with core banking products and services. This includes current accounts offerings for the delivery of cash management, FX, payments and receivables. BCS Global Markets: International Payments is a business within BCS GM which has been identified as a key area of focus for driving growth. To support its development significant investment in payments infrastructure has been provided for the next 3 years.
The Role: BCS Global Markets: International Payments is looking for a Senior Sales Manager for its products. The Senior Sales Manager within BCS Global Markets: International Payments is responsible for selling a portfolio of products to current and target customers.
Key Accountabilities
- Drive and manage targeted levels of income and customer sales across BCS Global Markets: International Payments product suite;
- Demonstrate pro-activity in the approach to obtaining customer leads either through the relationships within BCS Global Markets or through self-generated means;
- Input into key account planning with relationship teams to develop BCS Global Markets: International Payments pipeline;
- Prepare, manage and execute business and opportunity plans in order to meet business objectives and drive BCS Global Markets: International Payments revenue;
- Formulate and manage an effective working partnerships with all relevant internal and external stakeholders ensuring effective management processes are synchronised across BCS Group;
- As part of the front line team, manage selected BCS Global Markets: International Payments customer relationships;
- Analyse data and deliver a suitable solution including both financial & operational benefits;
- Manage and maintain a pipeline of potential business opportunities;
Key Capabilities/ Knowledge:
- A track record in Sales of Treasury, Cash Management, Transaction Banking products;
- Significant marketing and sales as well as operations and financial experience across Treasury, Cash Management, Transaction Banking products;
- Experience of building and managing effective partnerships to deliver products in time and budget;
- The successful candidate will have excellent inter-personal and team-working skills;
- Prepare and present responses for new business, liaising with other business leaders and other specialist providers and product owners as appropriate, in order to maximise the potential for business returns;
- Create pricing strategy and associated P&L documents, ensuring necessary approvals before submitting business proposals;
- Ability to develop customer deepening retention strategies through additional product penetration including cross sale opportunities within BCS Global Markets;
- Undertake full and thorough win and loss reviews to influence future opportunities;
- Identify product gaps or new product opportunities to influence the business development of new products;
- Evaluate industry, market, customer, competitor and regulatory trends to ensure that identifiable risks and opportunities are defined in order to deliver an appropriate response that maximize business benefits for the firm;
- Ensure customer treatment and other regulatory requirements are met and are compliant with regulatory policies in order to protect and enhance the firm's reputation.
