MSD Talent Acquisition (Global TA) organization is currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Advisor to be accountable for developing diverse recruitment strategies to deliver the highest quality talent, internal and external, to drive organizational objectives within Russia across functional areas. To act as a talent acquisition consultant while executing recruitment strategies to support and fill staffing needs. The responsibility includes managing and leading the RPO and the representative of the RPO, building Employer Branding activities including but not limited to the University Programs.
The Talent Acquisition will assist in building, strengthening, and expanding key businesses by attracting talent. He/she will ensure the ongoing and future organizational talent demands are met while ensuring employment policies and practices are compatible with all employment laws. He/she will provide leadership of cross-functional and cross-divisional teams to implement and/or manage an array of staffing initiatives, policies or programs, ensuring stakeholder participation, support and pull-through.
Employer Branding:
• Be Brand Ambassador and role model facing external candidates.
• Develop Universities Relationship within company strategy.
• Implement Fresh Graduates programs, participate in Career Fairs.
• Launch Internships and Mentorship Programs.
Sourcing Partnership:
• Build collaborative partnerships with the RPO (Recruitment Partner Organization), and if needed Global Talent Acquisition to engage in the proactive sourcing and successful identification of top talent for job openings within a business unit or units and/or specific functions; facilitate prioritization of talent needs.
• Suggest and execute innovative, effective and efficient recruitment strategies needed to acquire top talent, including diverse job seekers.
• Manage relationships with vendors to facilitate talent needs.
• Conduct full in-depth Interviews with qualified applicants to determine level of qualification, and identify top talent for open positions.
• Deliver slates of qualified and diverse talent for current and anticipated roles in the organization.
Business Strategy & Needs identification:
• Identify how changes in business strategy impact talent planning needs.
• Help hiring managers navigate trade-offs between market, speed and quality while setting clear expectations on service level agreements.
• Provide advice and counsel to hiring managers on what skills or characteristics matter most when they evaluate candidates, establishing best selection process in terms of strategy, tools and participant experience.
Relationship Management:
• Partner with hiring managers to ensure they prioritize position requirements based on business need.
• Assess and advise on the talent and business risks & benefits of hiring specific candidates.
• Challenge hiring managers about talent assumptions.
In-Market Thinking:
• Educate hiring managers on trends in the labor market.
• Use competitive analysis to understand hiring needs and recruiting practices of talent competitors.
• Understand the availability of talent across critical talent segments. Source as necessary based on capacity limitations.
Communication and Reporting:
• Respond to talent acquisition needs and inquiries from HRBPs, business leaders, hiring managers, etc. with firm-specific business knowledge.
• Provide hiring managers accurate and timely updates on applicant activity, track talent acquisition metrics and report trends and issues to TA leadership, providing recommendations for improvement.
• Meet Talent Acquisition goals for time-to-fill, cost per hire, diverse candidate slates, candidate pipelines, and compliance.
Qualifications
- 5+ years’ previous experience in recruiting, preferably in large / global, matrix environments.
- Prior experience recruiting all levels of talent across a range of functions as a corporate in-house recruiter or in an RPO model is required. Recruitment agency or international recruitment experience is an asset.
- Extensive experience in candidate assessment, as well as recruiting principles, theories and concepts with ability educate hiring managers on conducting behavior-based interviewing and compliant candidate selection practices.
- Demonstrated success in the use of social media and sourcing tools in addition to LinkedIn is required.
- Knowledge of at least one applicant tracking system and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Proven history of delivering and implementation with a sense of urgency; operating with a strong customer satisfaction approach.
- Project management skills to see through deliver on and implement strategic talent acquisition projects like employer branding
