The company employs professionals of 22 different nationalities in 17 offices, namely San Francisco, Phoenix, Berlin, Kiev, Istanbul, Lisbon, Moscow, Sofia, Bangalore, Gurgaon, Novosibirsk, Seoul, Manila, Beijing and Hanoi.
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Professional who will be part of our growing sales team. Their goal is to create new partnerships with players in the financial and payments industry. As a Business Developer, you are responsible for identifying business opportunities, negotiating and closing partnerships that contribute to our rapid growth in global and diverse local markets.
Responsibilities
- Create new partnerships by identifying potential companies and understanding their business model and requirements for specific monetization services
- Use your working relationships, which generate revenue for both the customer and the payment wall
- Active and successful control of sales processes: from lead generation and pitching of new customers; Negotiations; Signing contracts; to the deal, which is forwarded to the account management team
- Representation of payment wall to potential customers through direct communication, face-to-face meetings, networking events, speaking roles and emails
- Introduce Paymentwall at industry events and trade fairs with the goal of establishing new business contacts and contacts and informing other industry experts about Paymentwall's product and service offerings
- Responsible for creating applications for customer, contracts and other documents with the support of Senior Business Development Associates
- Effective interaction with other departments including, but not limited to; technical integration, marketing and account management teams
- Train and share your knowledge of past sales experience in the industry, the correct business etiquette and follow-up procedures with Junior Business Development
- Keep abreast of market trends and issues that impact the payments industry by keeping track of global payment messages. Inquire about new businesses that need payment processing
- Participate in Adhoc marketing activities to increase the visibility of Paymentwall in current and expanding markets
- Take the initiative and strive to make a tangible contribution to the business
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional experience in the online payment industry
- Proven track record of successfully completing a full sales cycle
- Confident, funny, friendly and, above all, commercial vision, are a must to understand different business models and business needs
- Ability to conduct serious discussions around technical topics
- Experience in the payments or SaaS industry is preferred
- Excellent manners in business life and in the follow-up process are among her strengths
- Detailed, positive attitude and the ability to prioritize tasks on time
- Have excellent intercultural skills and experience in different teams
- Ability to work with cross-functional and extremely diverse teams to achieve results
- Bachelor's degree or higher is required
