GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION
Reporting to the Regional Sales Director EAST, the Sales Manager is responsible for planning, direction, execution and control of the sales activities for key wholesale customers and tenders as well as development of key account skills of TSM sales team also reporting to RSD relating to the Ansell Healthcare Products in assigned territory.
Responsible for meeting and exceeding all budgeted sales and profit goals without exceeding the approved selling expense budget. Ensures that the company has sufficient channel capacity and an appropriate mix of channels to deliver the business strategies. This function furthermore develops and coordinates country specific sales & distribution policy for distributors and wholesalers, in line with the global corporate approach.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Be accountable for sales revenues, pricing, gross margin for the zone of responsibility and dedicated customers (Centralized tenders and IDP (Indirect Distribution Partner) sales out). Develops approach, best practices of sales, and objectives so that the turnover, gross margin and country contribution, and competitive position will be delivered.
2. Build the co-operation with regional healthcare authorities in Moscow, SPb and their respective administrative areas to ensure the high industry standards are used in the tech specs of regional tenders. Influence key hospital’s DMUs (decision making units) as well as healthcare authorities to use global best practices in hand protections.
3. Maintain a continuous interface with important wholesalers and customers and be responsible for relations with external bodies. Deploy marketing activities to ensure delivery of sales targets. Provide analysis, feedback and recommendations for further development of IDP project.
4. Lead team activity in IDP sales/customer interaction via the following aspects: setting the KPIs for TSMs; participate in negotiations with key potential customers at national level for Acute and Non-Acute channel; train TSM team to successfully work with Key Accounts.
5. Develop and support an effective sales via satisfying their training/development. Define personal development areas for each TSM in cooperation with RSD and improve their skills via appropriate tools such as training, coaching, joint visits. Support RSD to exercise permanent supervision of sales personnel.
6. Create and implement program for sales capabilities development of distributors’ sales team based on Ansell solution’ portfolio, best KAM practices and efficient sales basics.
7. Regularly interface with RSD in IDP execution progress/key tender metrics/team development status.
8. Link key technological and marketing programs of Ansell solutions with commercial practices resulted in technical specs in key tenders. Involve KOLs to demonstrate safety practices development and way of optimization of Healcthcare worker’s protection.
KEY POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education
- Medical/bio/chemical university degree
Job Experience
- Minimum 5 years of Sales experience in multi-national company at country level, with background of distributor and KA management. Sales experience in Medical Devices is a plus
- Proven success in leadership and people management
- Proven acumen in understanding key financial management & reporting;
- GR basics understanding and experience at regional/national level (MoH)
- Negotiation skills and commercial acumen – master level
- Presentation skills and competency as coach
- Ability of planning using the priotitization of tasks and focus at strategic targets
- Strong verbal and written communication skills/ability to communicate to all levels and functions within Ansell and with independent customers
- Languages : Russia + English (written and spoken) upper intermediate level
- PC literate : thorough knowledge of PC and network and standard applications used in Windows
