Job Purpose:
National Sales Manager is responsible for achieving established goals of quarterly and annual sales plans and profits in his Business unit. Lead a team of employees in a dedicated unit within the policies and procedures of the Smith & Nephew Group, maintaining high ethical standards and business reputation.
Main Tasks:
- Have full responsibility for the implementation of the quarterly and annual sales plans of the business unit in Russia and control the expenditure side of the budget and profitability indicators
- Identify sales opportunities and develop unique ways to grow the business with the customer and provide solutions to management in the face of challenges.
- Develop a strategy for the Company's development in the direction on the territory of the Russian Federation and provide a business plan in time for management's consideration
- Propose necessary improvement to set business practices, find new ways and opportunities to make business more efficient and align them to the current business needs.
- Initiate changes for successful business development and lead them.
- Participate in the integrated Commercial Planning Process through development of quarterly and annual Sales revenue targets, Customer Plans, Brand and Territory Plans.
- Coordinate and perform economic and competitive analysis of customer business opportunities and threats to “win” with S&N brands and to capitalize on them and to secure sales
- Lead a team of directions and constantly pay attention to the development of key competencies of sales managers, product specialists and clinical application specialists as well as their involvement in the work of the Company.
- Lead cross-functional team focusing on sales and promotion efforts in the territory
- Manage the Company's product portfolio, including defining the list of products on the Russian market, as well as Commercial policy and pricing for its business segment
- Develop and retain long, strong and effective partnership relations with with key healthcare professionals and other decision makers
- Ensure that employees of the department fulfill their duties in full, as well as they comply with high standards of business ethics of the Company
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Business, Medicine or Technical discipline
- Understanding of the Medical Device industry and it's requirements, proven experience not less than 3 years
- Spoken and written English on a fluent level is a must
- Previous management or team leadership experience is necessary not less than 3 years
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in low bureaucratic/political environment
- Outside the box thinker
- Flexibility and Adaptability to changing conditions
- Taking Initiative & Getting Results
- Business planning, analysis and organizational skills
