We are seeking an experienced Web/Marketing Analyst who is organised and self-motivated to be responsible for data analysis and insights based reporting to help plan, measure and optimise marketing activities and targeting. The analyst will work collaboratively with the marketing team to identify data-driven insights, measure the impact of marketing efforts, and make proactive recommendations to improve performance and meet business objectives and challenges.
The ideal candidate will have had previous hands-on experience as a Web/Marketing Analyst and will be able to give examples of how his/her insight helped shape a particular digital strategy/project.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and report on website performance using analytical tools.
- Analyse and document the impact of online marketing tactics, site changes, events and other critical drivers of website performance
- Build, produce reports and present recommendations to the marketing team
- Make recommendations for customer experience optimisation by utilising the full range of data sources
- Identify opportunities to improve Business/Marketing Analytics
- Develop a complex website tracking system using a combination of analytics tools which may include Google Analytics, MixPanel, Google Tag Manager, JavaScript etc
- Identify A/B tests and generate funnel optimisation suggestions in close co-operation with other marketing department colleagues
- Discover and manage existing, and new customer profiles and segments used to optimise performance
- Run in-depth reports and present them to the broader teams & stakeholders
Requirements:
- University degree
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- High level of interest in marketing
- Outstanding analytical skills with a strong knowledge of multiple analytical tools and programs
- Advanced expertise in the generation, collection and analysis of visitor behaviour data
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical matters to a non-technical audience
- Strong understanding of Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager
- Knowledge of data query languages such as SQL (working knowledge MySQL will be considered a plus)
- Understanding of CRO (conversion rate optimisation)
- Knowledge of user experience (UX)
- Ambitious critical thinker with a problem-solving attitude
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently with minimal supervision
- Experience in the Forex industry is an advantage
