UPM Plywood offers high quality WISA® plywood and veneers, mainly for the construction and transportation industry, as well as UPM Grada® thermoplastic plywood for furniture and manufacturing. Net sales of UPM's plywood business amounted to approximately EUR 480 million in 2018 and it employs approximately 2,400 people, of which 1,500 in Finland. Plywood and veneer mills are located in Jyv?skyl?, Joensuu, Savonlinna, Mikkeli and Kouvola, and the company also has plywood mills in Russia and Estonia. It is a Junior Sales position combined with a Business Operator role. The role will involve network building between end users and distributors within the area, working alongside with business development and sales. In this role you will be actively looking for new business opportunities, promoting WISA products and services.
What you will do:
- Look for new sales opportunities for WISA products and services
- Support and serve current customers
- Communicate frequently with distributors and end-users ensuring they always have up-to-date information about our offer
- Be responsible for maintaining all distributors and end-user records to ensure that they are accurate and up-to-date at all time
- Handle orders intake on daily basis: orders from Finland, Estonia and Russia are to be handled
- Monitor an operational process to keep capacity/ stock/ delivery volumes in balance
- Handle all operational issues related to production, sales, logistics, payments within your level of responsibility
- Continuously develop your own product and technical expertise
- Explore new end-use opportunities
- Travel frequently
Who you are:
- You have a high school / university degree
- You are fluent in English language. Other language skills preferable
- You have a proven experience of dealing with B2B customers
- You have a basic understanding of marketing
- You have strong commercial acumen and sales skills
- You are a team player
- You have experience working in ERP systems
- You have communication, inter-personal and networking skills
