Role purpose
Meet or exceed district budgeted sales targets through effective coaching and management of the sales team. Active participation with SBU, Customer Management and Marketing to contribute to set strategic direction.
Responsibilities:
- People management (internal)
- Responsible to recruit the right caliber of people people for the respective roles needed
- Collaborate with the Capability Manager on the on-boarding process
- Objective setting
- On going coaching to improve individual performance in order to achieve agreed objectives
- Monitor individual KPI?s (business development, sales calls, new business generation, project work etc.). Guarantee team’s and individual achievement of SFE objectives / compliance with SFE policy
- Compliance with GPM process including regular reviews with team members
- Regular career reviews with team members in order to understand their career aspirations; be in a position to recommend a team member for career development within the organization
- Plan for the future through an effective succession planning process
- Organise PIP when necessary. Recommend the exit strategy of an individual
- Team management
- Transform a group of individuals into an effective working team
- Effectively handle internal conflict management to reach a successful resolution
- Create an open environment where individual team members share their successes and business ideas with others e.g. through the weekly teleconference

Qualifications & experience:
- Minimum 3 years of documented sales success or experience in related B2B markets in equivalent position
- Minimum 3 years of successful execution of the Regional Capability role, proven track record
