Levi Strauss Moscow is currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager (Temporary contract)
Job Purpose
Manage delivery of HR Solutions, Employee Relations Practices, Global LS&Co. HR Compliance and Labor Relations in line with HR delivery model & budget to support and enable growth and development of Levi Strauss Moscow. Lead the local HR function and add value to the country business through the input, implementation and monitoring of human resources programs and policies to assure efficient and productive organization by partnering with the local Management and HR Function
Job description:
- Deliver key HR processes such as hire, compensation administration, performance management, workforce planning, talent management, recruitment and employee relations issues in line with HR delivery model
- Manage Employee Relations by providing counsel and guidance to manager and employees on a broad range of ER matters, HR policies, procedures, and practices including those related to code of conduct, performance management and administration of various labor agreements, grievance procedures. Serve as a link between management and employees by coaching, mentoring, handling questions, interpreting and administering to help resolve work-related problems
- Ensure ER guidance is timely, consistent and accurate, adhering to relevant legislation and company values and policies with consideration of the commercial needs of the business
- Develop and exhibit commercial insight and establish effective partnership within the organization for understanding of the business challenges and to co-craft agenda. Manage the implementation of the HR initiatives, ensuring they are aligned with the business and operational goals, providing support to the business area to respond to the strategic change positively
- Provide the annual Labor Annual Plan including Headcount and Remuneration Costs. Partner with Finance in the monthly tracking of Actuals VS. AFP and Forecast. Ensure accuracy of data
- Ensure accurate and on time statutory and internal & external reporting. Assist in the audits. Handle request from local authorities (Tax, social security, labor inspection etc.)
- Ensure up-to-date knowledge of payroll, benefits, labor law. Notify relevant COE, Global Policies team on regulatory change. Answer complex local questions; assist with enrollment
- Manage the operational administration of employment, payroll and related aspects to ensure accuracy, compliance and efficient and timely delivery of services
- Ensure all HR actions are accurately and promptly documented, updated & reflected in HR systems, initiate automation of HR processes, systems integration
- Ensure effective, safe and healthy environment, address local legal requirements, opportunities and threats
- Manage delegated projects by providing input and recommendations & by exhibiting possessed business acumen and leadership skills
- Lead and develop HR team, including managing their performance, work assignment and other management responsibilities to maintain an effective and engaged team
- Manage budget & vendors to ensure right use of company resources
- Temporary contract for approx. 1,5 years (maternity cover)
Education and language skills:
- University degree in a relevant field
- Post graduate qualification in Human Resources Management could be a plus
- Fluent English (written & verbal), native Russian
Work Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in HR/Employee Relations/ HR Generalist role with global / international company with employee populations across Russia, preferably within Retail industry
- Excellent knowledge of Russia employment law and practices & its implications and practical appliance is a must
- Demonstrated understanding of the business strategies and ability to co-craft HR agenda
- Proven ability to work in multinational environment. Additional international assignments / internships will be an asset
Candidate Profile:
- HR Generalist experience with a focus on driving performance of HR function & strong relationship management
- Experience in building effective business partnership coupled by strong interpersonal skills in matrix-based and multinational/multicultural environment environment
- Global mindset, open for improvement, team player, customer oriented and with excellent communication skills
- Results driven person, with very good execution and follow up skills
- Change management and ability to engage people in change
- Excellent communication (oral and written) skills. Russian (must have), English (must have)
- Proficient PC skills; strong knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint; knowledge of HR systems as 1C 8.3, Workday
