ROLE PURPOSE:
Collect, consolidate, analyze and synthetize pharmaceutical market data, provide consumer insights to BU clients for better data driven decisions and ensure analytical support for strategical tasks and solving business questions. Key area of responsibilities includes but not limited to:
- Internal Sales Forecasting and Modelling
- Stock Monitoring
- Primary Market Research
- Desk Study (Open sources of information)
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support Russia Management with sales & stock product data, analysis and insights, while maintains openness and creativity
- Proactively identify and anticipate explicit and implicit needs of internal customers: sales analyses, sales forecasting, sales modelling, activity evaluation, reporting
- Exchange and share knowledge with other business data providers and stockholders within the company and department
- Collect, consolidate and synthesize product/market information taking into account BU clients requests and based on external and internal data available, regularly identifies and highlights relevant information on products’ performance, developing insights that can provide competitive advantage to achieve short and long term goals
- Executing internal sales forecasting by SKU on monthly/qurterly level
- Deliver distributors monthly sales forecast for key BU products to be able to react to sales performance immediately and fix issues if there are
- Lead and drive Monthly Sales Forecast Meeting to come to an agreement with all relevant stockholders (marketing, commercial colleagues)
- Participate in OP/LE process and provide proper sales forecasting and In-Market-To-Market sales modelling and opportunity evaluation
- Ensure close partnership with other BAI managers to ensure best-in-class analytical support to internal clients and to guarantee all-around analytics and united vision
- Participation in global, regional and local initiatives which requires detailed market knowledge and related but not limited to country reporting, activities and performance evaluation, market researches
- Monitoring of pharm market analytics and syndicated research results as well as tools and instruments which could be useful for BU purposes
- Participating in or leading different market researches based on request from BU clients
Performance Metrics
- Analyze relevant business data from internal and external data sources and communicate them to internal stockholders
- Identify and evaluate relevant information sources
- Evaluate market research agencies, information sources and BI tools/systems
- Develop systems/reports to gather information, track variations and measure progress of metrics critical to the organization
- Keep abreast with the evolution and emergence of tools/systems and suppliers (IQVIA, Proxima, HeadWay, etc.) and market research agencies
- Follow up the evolution of BI models, technologies, techniques and tools
- Proactively provides fact-based analyses and recommendations to the senior management and BU leaders
- Gather product/market information and build product/market knowledge via feedback provided by the internal customers and via all other available relevant sources
- Build models and scenarios that help predict market trends and company sales, identify opportunities and provide critical insights, avoid potential bottlenecks and support achieving superior performance
- Develop standard sales reporting with cross-TA and presents them to the BU Team(s) for validation
- Be a partner to primary market research manager
PROFESIONAL EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Technical Skills
- English – upper-intermediate
- Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
- BI and forecasting tools knowledge is preferable
- Understands quantitative and qualitative research methodologies. Extensive experience in management of secondary data. Knowledgeable about study design and able to assess vendor technical capabilities
- Experience in monitoring, simulating and analyzing complex data sets;
- Experience of forecasting revenues/sales
- Ability to be flexible, prioritize multiple demands and deal with ambiguity
Experience
3+ years of research/analytics/sales experience, experience with agency management and coordination
Education
Bachelor’s degree required, Masters preferred in a quantitative discipline.
