Service Management Specialist/Consultant uses company standard methods and existing experience to help application services solution architects and service managers to design services, prepare and run transition from insourcing, optimize and automate existing deliveries; plan, monitor and control delivery for high quality and predictable outcomes for projects and/or managed services.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare the efforts & costs estimate, schedule, work plan, resource/sourcing plan.
- Collaborate as a supporting member of the sales team to represent the solution offering
- Analyze, propose and drive delivery of optimizations in existing services
- Manage and operate day-to-day ongoing delivery in single large or few small services
- Monitor delivery performance and quality using metrics and status reporting and implement continuous improvements
- Ensure delivery architecture is implemented according to policies/standards and solution is benchmarked externally
- Collaborate with solution architects and service managers to translate buyer requirements into a standard solution offering deal approach, solution plan, proposal and cost estimate/
- Manage the delivery effort including change, demand and support of operations management within schedule, cost, quality, effort, SLAs and KPIs
- Support the management of financials, contractual, and operational commitments in alignment with contract and original deal economics, as well as cost management targets
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
- Experience in service/project manager role
- ITSM, ITIL knowledge (including but not limited to – incident and problem management, release management, change management)
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle is a plus
- Knowledge of application and infrastructure monitoring, automation and orchestration methods and tools is a plus
- Experience in implementation/operation/support least one large enterprise application will be advantage
