Research Analyst – Personal Computing Devices Markets, Russian Federation, Moscow
IDC is seeking an experienced market analyst to lead its research of the personal computing, media tablet and gaming PC markets in Russia and the CIS region. The position will be located at the IDC Office in Moscow and will be part of IDC’s European research team.
The successful candidate will be expected to understand the technologies, the players on these markets and to demonstrate a personal contact network in this area.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct primary secondary research based on established IDC methodologies
- Identify and communicate market trends
- Work with IDC quantitative market sizing and forecasting analytical tools
- Prepare written reports in English
- Ensure that all research deadlines are met, and that data quality standards are maintained
- Contribute to custom research engagements
- Support business development opportunities
We require:
- Relevant industry knowledge and experience
- Drive, energy and enthusiasm
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Relevant work experience
- A university degree or equivalent,
- proficiency with Excel and other MS Office software packages
