DEPARTMENT: Product Support
REPORTING TO: Product Support Manager CE Russia
Job mission: Assists channel partners, field staff and dealers in solving complex technical problems on specific products. Leads initiatives to provide expert resolution to product issues on specific products to achieve market share targets. Conducts advanced sales support activities as required by channel partners to achieve market share targets. Provides training to channel partners, company personnel and customers. Could be applied to sales, service or parts activities.
Major job responsibilities:
- Assists and advises channel partners and field staff in solving complex technical problems on specific products.
- Investigates in-field problems, collects data and determines corrective action needed and advises channel partners how to effect remedy and appropriate follow-up.
- Field repairs participation as chief-mechanic
- Communicates detailed information to the factories to determine cause of problems and appropriate long-term solution.
- Coordinates installation and in-field testing of factory supplied experimental parts. Prepares follow-up reports and communicates results to the factories.
- Delivers product training, technical, and/or business management training to channel partners, Company employees or customers.
- Assists with special aftermarket projects and promotions.
Required skills and competencies:
- Higher degree in engineering/mechanics;
- Knowledge of Construction equipment;
- Previous working experience as service engineer/product support specialist — from 3 years;
- Good command of English, including technical terms (regular communication with HQ);
- Team player, responsibility on high level, problem solving skills, passionate about achieving;
- Proactive approach and capability to work under a pressure;
- Motivation to grow in a large multinational company with fast working rhythm, broad matrix organization;
- Ready for regular business trips (up to 50 % of schedule)
