Due to expansion, we are now looking for the right person to join our Eastern Europe team as a Sales Engineer based in Russia, Moscow office.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As a Sales Engineer your role contributes to the business by being responsible for the technical aspects of the sales cycle, transmitting knowledge and information about Axis network video portfolio to our partners.
As the holder of the position you are also responsible for educating large and selected end-customers and partners about Axis products through Axis Communications Academy, presenting the benefits of network video to important decision makers in order to develop a relationship as trusted advisor for these selected accounts.
You are influencing decision makers both in the beginning of the sales cycle and in order to get Axis specified and increasing the chance of winning projects - and throughout the sales cycle.
- You will be a part of an international team covering the Russia region and report to the Regional Manager for the Engineering and Training function. Your focus within this role will be the Czech market.
- It is an office-based role in Moscow, where travelling within the region and to our Swedish Headquarters in Lund is expected, this will include on-site technical trials, workshops, classroom trainings and in customer meetings.
Apart from above mentioned tasks it will be your job to:
- Make customer visits to conduct product demonstrations and pilot installations as well as support hands on trials with customers and partners
- Developing our business by supporting technical aspects of the sales cycle in close conjunction with Sales and Business Development team
- Support our key customers with technical advice and support in new projects
- Assist sales organization in tender and RFP/RFQ process and answering project related questions from the KAMs and Inside Sales colleagues
- Cooperate with the central/global pre-sales organization and develop written pre-sales material of technical nature, both in the form of articles and PowerPoint presentations
- Set up Axis demonstration areas at events/trade shows and demonstrate Axis products to customers
- Responsible for transferring competence, knowledge and expertise to the Partners and the Axis team by provision of the selected trainings from Axis Academy portfolio
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a focused and sales-driven team player with a technical background within Networking & IP. You have experience in pre-sales, project-based work within the CCTV market, alternatively within the IT channel. You have the technical confidence to setup and demonstrate complex solutions within Network surveillance and solutions. You are able to demonstrate knowledge of network infrastructure (TCP/IP).
You have worked in a fast paced, deadline driven environment and are able to handle changes in a positive way. You can hold inspiring presentations and demonstrations.
Fluent in English and Russian that allows for oral and written communication with your colleagues (interview in English is a part of recruiting process).
Apart from this we believe you have the following qualifications and experience:
- Attained industrial certification from CISCO, Nortel Networks, Microsoft with technical experience is an advantage
- Knowledge of VMS is preferred
- Excellent organizational and follow-through skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in order to develop internal and external relationships
- At least three years of experience from a similar position in an international company is preferable
