VACANCY - General Manager Russia - European Company – b2b sales of Hi-tech equipment and services for Retail, IT and Finance markets (finance institution or banks).
Our client is European engineering company who produces hi-tech equipment and services for Retail, IT and Finanace Markets.
GM Russia Reports to GM EMEA
Subordinates - 30 people of Russian team
We are looking for the candidates with the following experience:
- Sales leadership experience, negotiating large contracts/deals within the Russian and CIS market
- B2B sales experience, industry experience for IT, RETAIL or FINANCE
- Managerial experience
Principal Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the strategic business plan for the region
- Manage the Moscow office team, leadership and motivation
- Achieve the agreed Sales plan
- Review and revise sales structure as required to meet the sales strategy, realign resources to support growth areas
- Establish strong strategic relationships at the highest level within major end users and influence decision makers and demonstrate the value proposition.
- Identify potential business expansion opportunities in the region
- Lead or participate in the negotiation of significant commercial agreements with customers.
- Supervise customer proposal development. Review and approve cost estimates and complex commercial issue evaluations (risk, bonus/penalty, liquidated damages escalation etc). Review and approve value-based prices and associated profit level recommendations. Obtain executive management approval, as necessary.
- Review performance periodically and as dictated by the company performance appraisal programme.
- Ensure compliance with the company policy, business unit policy, safety and quality programme requirements.
- Produce forecasts, weekly and monthly reports as required in a timely manner
- Ensure technical knowledge and understanding of available products, systems and services is maintained at the highest level.

- Will have sold industrial products and solutions, ideally including into the region, preferably IT engineering products.
- Knowledge of the selling processes within the region
- Will have held positions in technical sales, project management and/or product management.
Education:
- Bachelors in an engineering or business discipline, MBA preferred.
