Дополнительные сведения о вакансии: Research Scientist for Multiphase Flow Metering
Aramco Research Center – Moscow is offering great job opportunities for research scientists with multidisciplinary background in production technology, multiphase flow metering and experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) techniques. The position combines the roles of a researcher and data scientist and requires to be very flexible and innovative to handle multi-dimensional problems. This position intended to fill the niche in the development of novel multiphase metering technologies, which are focused on the intensive application of artificial intelligence and data analytics techniques. This would also require to be capable of developing the deployment scenarios for digital metering solution in the framework of 4th industrial revolution.
Key functions and responsibilities:
- Develop data-driven, physics based or hybrid models for multiphase flow metering and continuous production optimization;
- Identify and implement algorithms and methods for continuous improvement of digital and software solutions for production monitoring systems to meet requirements and specifications;
- Data preprocessing from different fields for virtual flow metering;
- Ensure seamless transfer and integration of developed technology in real-time production monitoring platform at end-user location;
- Cooperate with customers, field and petroleum specialists for adding new functionality and options in the developed product;
- Follow company requirements for processes, documentation and reporting.
Key technical skills and competencies:
- Strong understanding of multiphase flow measurement equipment and process control industry in general. Understanding of upstream oil and gas processes, well production technologies;
- Depth of knowledge and experience with Python and its data analytics and machine learning libraries and packages (e.g. scikit-learn, Pandas, TensorFlow,etc). Ability to write robust code in Python;
- Hand-on experience in data processing, cleaning, filtering, handling and operation with large quantities of structured and unstructured data;
- Experience in development of supervised machine learning algorithms for multivariate time-series prediction and forecasting;
- Experience in Multiphase Meter technology or equivalent flow measurement technologies preferred;
- General knowledge on multiphase flow (experiments and simulations) is required. Experience with commercial flow assurance simulators (e.g. OLGA) is a plus;
- Experience in developing, validation and implementation of machine learning models for anomaly detection, automated recommendation and advisory is a plus;
- Good communication skills in English (writing and speaking) are important. Please use a profile in English for applying for this role.
