Responsibilities:
- Ensure product and competitive positioning/ pricing for models in charge are in alignment with VW VGRs sales operations, market development, service & quality, and aftersales for the VW Brand in RUS, KAZ, AZE
- Product Lifecycle management (for RUS, KAZ, AZE markets): Planning of special models/ product actions from development of idea and to management approval, business case and implementation; Manage model year updates, new equipment/engines from planning till launch; Analyze and identify market needs, set up all steps for approval of future features; Competition actions monitoring and pro-active planning of counter measures
- Conducting all product marketing activities for models in charge at operational level: Attaining knowledge about all product news and informing dealer network and other VGR departments about changes; Communicating of product updates, complete and correct and in due time via the appropriate channels and systems (e.g. NADIN/NADCON/AIS/ICC)
- Pricing and mix responsibility for planning, management alignment, implementation: Segment monitoring (competitions’ price steps and actions),; Implementing necessary price steps in order to keep (and/or improve) profitability; monitor price index and take action if deviations from target occur; Monitor and optimize production mixes for trims/ options in line w/ market needs, Preparation and alignment of model Retail prices and calculations
- General tasks: Preparation and support of dealer & web configurator, product catalogue, web-page, correctness of product and price information in all marketing and PR material, Update of invoicing systems and price lists, Exchange with teams supporting solution finding for issues in various fields, Lead ad-hoc projects related to a model and other ad-hoc task(s)
- Prepare information, analysis, recommendations for various management requests in relation to and about the models in charge for current operations and short, mid and long term strategic topics
Requirements: - Higher education (Economics or Business Management or, Automotive or Engineering with business studies)
- 3-5 years work experience in automotive industry or product management
Know how about general product planning, forecasting, sales and automotive market are an advantage - English upper-intermediate
