We focus on mid/long-term research on advanced wireless technologies, including 6G and beyond. 6G related topics are planned to be studied in 3GPP around 2024, and the specifications related to the 6G standard would be discussed since 2026. It is the best time now to join the study of the 6G frontier, exploit the golden 4 years to contribute innovative technologies that could lead the world's communication into a new era. As a member of the team, you will work with scientists and engineers with 3/4/5G experiences, work on some of the most challenging and ambitious technical problems and collaborate with product teams to integrate your ideas into products. In addition you will have the chance to publish your innovative research results in the top international journals and international conferences.
Now, we are looking for 6G leading researcher (senior-level) for coding theory direction.
Basic Responsibilities
- Research new theory for short & high-throughput code construction and decoding algorithm.
- Perform low complexity decoder for Polar and LDPC codes, etc.
- Propose your own ideas and test the results on the simulation platform.
- Prepare technical report, file patents and publish papers in top journals and international conferences.
Responsibilities for the team leader
- Build and manage the coding theory team.
- Cooperate with top scientists/research teams in universities and research institutes, conduct cutting-edge research and cultivate young talents.
- Lead the research on new theory for short & high throughput code construction/decoding.
- Lead the research on low complexity decoder for Polar codes.
Basic Key Qualifications
- Solid background in information and wireless communication theory, signal processing, coding theory.
- Publications as the first author in top IEEE/ACM journals or conferences, such as GLOBECOM / ICC / ISIT / ITW / TIT / TSP/ TWC.
- Experience with low complexity decoding algorithm for polar/LDPC code.
- Solid programming skills in C++/Python/Matlab/Latex.
- Good communication, writing and presentation skills in English.
- Innovative ability for tackling the challenging problems in coding theory.
- Collaboration ability with other team members to maximize the group achievements.
- PhD in electrical engineering, communications engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or related area.
Key Qualifications for the team leader
- Practical experience in fundamental information and communication theory research including new channel coding scheme, low complexity decoding algorithm.
- Solid background in information and wireless communication theory, signal processing, coding theory.
- Publications as the first author in top IEEE/ACM journals or conferences, such as GLOBECOM / ICC / ISIT / ITW / TIT / TSP/ TWC.
- Filed patents as the first author granted by USPTO or EPO.
- Experience with low complexity decoding algorithm for polar/LDPC code, etc.
- Experienced in information theory research is a plus.
- Solid programming skills in C++/Python/Matlab/Latex.
- Good communication, writing and presentation skills in English.
- Innovative ability for tackling the challenging problems in coding theory.
- Collaboration ability with other team members to maximize the group achievements.
- PhD in electrical engineering, communications engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or related area.
