HP is looking for a smart and ambitious Partner Business Manager to support and manage our existing vendor base in Emerging Countries Group (ECG) - Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan. You will have full responsibility for achieving business objectives and be the voice of the vendor; identifying potential issues and working closely across multiple stakeholders in order to solve problems and improve processes. We expect that you can work autonomously, think both strategically and tactically, and take full control and responsibility for achieving your goals.
As the Partner Business Manager you’re at the heart of our team, ensuring we deliver products to our customers, developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and key interfaces in ECG whilst always achieving our commercial priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Manage selected commercial partners. This includes strategy planning, agreeing business plans, and to day to day account management.
- You work within the country P&L, build sales forecasts, manage sellout, margin maintenance and promotional planning with key product lines
- Achieving / overachieving quantitative and qualitative targets consistently.
- Interfacing with a virtual team/multiple departments to deliver cross functional execution.
- Building / managing key and executive level relationships with partners to secure strategic alignment between HP and the partners to deliver growth initiatives.
Education and Experience Required:
- 5+ years of Partner Account Management experience in selling IT hardware/consumer electronics
- Knowledge of the CIS IT space
- Experience selling to partners in a complex environment
- Advanced analytical and forecasting skills
- Fluency in Russian and English language (Ukrainian is an advantage)
- University or Bachelor's degree
Knowledge and Skills:
- Thorough understanding of the IT industry, competing vendors, and the channel. Dimensions include competitive positioning and business models. Segmentation, key programs & initiatives, structure and business model.
- Knowledge of computing and printing products in general.
- Able to communicate the strengths of HP's offerings relative to competition, and overcome objections.
- Effectively sells HP offerings by building strategic relationships with partner decision makers; aligning partner and HP processes; and promoting HP programs and offerings.
- Develops strategic plans with the partner to grow the size of the business and HP's share.
- Partners effectively with others in the account to ensure coordinated efficient account management.
- Ability to motivate partner's sales force.
- Coordinates and directs efforts across HP sales teams and across business groups.
