MISSION & OBJECTIVES:
- As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, supporting the Business Unit and IOTA Subsidiaries, you will be responsible for the sourcing, attraction and hiring of top talent in alignment with immediate and future organizational need, ensuring you uphold diversity and talent standards as well as communicate the employee value proposition in a way which successfully serves the organization and the candidate.
- You will manage candidate relationships; employment branding; sourcing talent; maintaining job postings; conducts screenings and interviews; negotiates and facilitates the offer; consults with key hiring stakeholders to ensure process alignment; consults on talent pool/labour market; suggests alternative considerations and solutions; sources and collaborates with vendors; and participates in career fairs and other recruitment events.
- Full-time and permanent role based in Remote to be filled as soon as possible.
ACTIVITES:
- We are looking for a professional and credible heavy industry Talent Acquisition Specialist with polished communication skills and experience building rapport with BDMs.
- The BDMs you will be supporting work and provide consulting solutions and services to our heavy industry clients. The position will suit someone who can own and build trusted relationships with specific business leads and who enjoys the challenge of sourcing for some of the more challenging profiles in the consulting life market.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to own 360° recruitment activities amongst other out-project work for some new and established teams.
- Work with management in assigned service areas, business units or departments to source, select and hire qualified candidates to fill regional consulting positions using cost-effective techniques
- Manage applicant flow to ensure availability of well qualified candidates and compliance with diversity hiring goals
- Build relationships with commercial colleagues and provide guidance, advise and direction as needed
- Ensure job adverts are succinct, engaging and up to date along with leveraging professional online networks to generate interest
- Maintain contacts with universities, alumni groups, and other organizations where necessary to identify potential early talents
- Review applications and conduct thorough interviews to obtain information regarding applicant's work history, education, training, job skills, and practical requirements
- Utilize LinkedIn recruiter, job boards and our CRM to identify and recruit profiles
- Assist with BMDs on recruiting, interviewing, and the selection process as required
- Proven success using data, metrics, analysis, and trends to optimize recruiting processes
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Heavy Industry recruitment experience, ideally with a focus on expatriate technical profiles OR experience recruiting management consultants
- Strong experience of passive sourcing – Linkedin, headhunting, networking with the market and building brand awareness
- Professional, credible, and polished communication skills
- Good computer skills including Microsoft Office applications
PROFILE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree or significant experience in a similar position.
Qualification & Skills:
- At least 2 years of relevant recruiting experience ideally within a service provide in the heavy industry or construction (Oil and Gas, mining, Electronics components, nuclear, power, railway, infrastructure);
- Exceptional organizational skills: ability to coordinate multiple workstreams proactively and independently
- Excellent interpersonal and team skills; ability to build great relationships with candidates, consultants at all levels and (international) recruiting colleagues
- Positive, open and demonstrates a can-do attitude
- Ability to work independently, prioritize appropriately and meet deadlines
- Flexibility to deal with last-minute changes; ability to remain calm under pressure
- Ability to communicate clearly with all audiences; mature, confident demeanor in the face of pressure especially when working with senior colleagues
- Fluent in French with good command of English, both spoken and written; and a third language is a plus (German or Spanish) ;
- Good computer skills.
