The Terumo Interventional Systems division (TIS) provides high quality, cutting-edge solutions for cardiac and vascular surgery, and interventional procedures performed inside blood vessels. We pursue therapies that minimize physical burden on patients. We offer diagnostic and therapeutic solutions for Interventional cardiology (IC) and Peripheral intervention (PI), and Interventional oncology (IO).
Job Summary
As a Product Manager in Terumo Russia Sales and Marketing department, you’ll be responsible for the implementation of the EMEA marketing plan into the Russian Federation to ensure an increasing market penetration and profitability in EVI Portfolio - Peripheral Interventions (PI), Interventional Oncology (IO) and Vascular Closure Devices (VCD).
You’ll analyse the market trends to define our product positioning, as well as a growth strategy for our current products and new product launches. Aside from your daily activities, you’ll report to the Business Unit Manager TIS Russia and work together with the EMEA marketing teams.

Job Responsibilities
As our Product Manager, you’ll be expected to have a full mastery of the product and market knowledge. You’ll provide up-to-date general knowledge concerning the products and markets, but also more in-depth information related to the market drivers, competition, market positioning, evolutions in the field and other relevant aspects. Consequently, you’ll be able to support both the sales team and the distributors.
By working together with the Business Unit TIS, you’ll translate the EMEA-strategy to local needs and you’ll ensure that the strategy is passed on to the local organisations. You’ll also be responsible for performing the benchmarking of all product and market aspects (e.g. competition, pricing, products, needs, marketing, …) and you’ll support the field sales force to monitor possible trends and to leverage the market intelligence that is gained.
You’ll be responsible for the development or marketing materials/tools, education programs to implement key strategies, product launches and its implementation, product support and all promotional tools (e.g. brochures, flyers, catalogues, videos, …). Additionally, you’ll analyse, interpret and communicate clinical data that’s relevant to the interventional cardiology portfolio.
By fulfilling your role as Product Manager, you’ll contribute actively to the Terumo Brand Image, through communicating actively and effectively with third parties.
Performing the field evaluation of new products, will also be one of your responsibilities. This will allow you to identify unmet customer requirements, analyse the current needs and eventually propose new product launches or iterations. In addition, you’ll manage the (pre-)marketing activities of these (new) products.
As the Product Manager, you’ll act as a representative of Terumo to third parties and you’ll assume all responsibilities and authorities that this function may require, regarding future opportunities. You’ll own and manage specific projects and you’ll be expected to deliver a detailed monthly report of all your activities, to ensure a smooth communication and information stream.
Profile Description
You’re enthusiastic and driven about complementing our sales and marketing team.
You possess a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a medical/pharmaceutical orientation, or any other relevant education. In addition, you can look back on prior experience in marketing and product portfolio management, within an international context. An excellent knowledge of interventional procedures will also be required.
You possess strong computer, communications and presentation skills, including the ability to work with digital communication tools. Furthermore, you are fluent in Russian and English. This entails both the verbal skills and writing skills.
You’re a highly motivated individual, who wants to take the responsibility of managing a product portfolio and performing marketing activities. You’re a team player and possess both strong problem-solving skills and a high level of integrity to maintain confidentiality.
You’re able to prioritize, based on business updates, and adapt implementation plans accordingly.
You are positive minded, proactive, have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and you’re able to perform well under pressure and within short time constraints.
You are flexible and able to travel for 40% of the time.
