MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOB:
- Achieve Sales Budgets and Growth Targets as defined by the organization
- Understand the business, market and future development plans of potential and existing accounts
- Creation of Business plans with local sales teams and Management
- Help write specifications at the very early stage of a project
- Maintain existing customer base and development of new customers
- Combined visits with local sales teams or individual visits to customers
- Training (both in office and on site) with local sales teams related to product applications and technology
- Facilitate design and cost analysis for engineered solutions
- Assist team members with final negotiations and kick-off meeting for strategic projects
- Participation of trade shows and conferences that meet needs of the business
- Creation of product application guides for specific refinery and chemical processes
- Feedback to Product-Management on market trends, competition, market prices as business dictates.
- Liaison with global peers and ETM Global Business Development team.
- Coordinate through local management
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 10 years professional experience in the refining industries. Preferably with Design Institute history, but catalyst sales and refining experience is also acceptable.
- Proven networking/contacts/relationships in HQ`s of Rosneft, Gazpromneft, Sibur, Lukoil, etc.
- Successful experience of the winning of the projects in refining industries
- Sales background of technically complicated products, or solutions
- Chemical Engineer is preferred (Bachelor of Science/Engineer or similar qualification)
- Travel frequently (>50% of time) within the assigned region.
- Ability to speak to an audience professionally
- Must be technically inclined
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written – also in English
- Strong aptitude to influence and negotiate
- High comfort level in communicating to Executives and Senior Leadership groups as well as Field people
- Strategic mindset while developing approach to sales
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team based environment
- Ability to think quickly and provide solutions in high pressure scenarios
