We are involved in the design, manufacture, commissioning and maintenance of machines for the dairy, cheese and butter sectors. THE JOB DESCRIPTION
You work to configure the automation of our equipment installed on our customer’s factories.
Area of responsibility – CIS countries, Eastern Europe, Central Asia, Middle East;
You carry out the following tasks:
Pre-project:
- You collect the input data during the kick off meeting or design review;
- You make the technical definitions (choice of components, hard & soft configuration, programming) according to the project context and Company`s policies;
- You estimate the budget (study and realization time) necessary for each project;
- You prepare the functional analysis and diagrams (grafcet) validated by the engineering office and the project manager;
- You write the specifications in case of subcontracting and participate in the analysis of the received offers;
- You inform the other stakeholders of your progress and possible risks.
Project execution:
- You control and follow up the subcontractors in your perimeter of responsibility;
- You create the programs of the PLC and the operator interface according to Company`s standards;
- You are involved with the process teams, in commissioning: dry & water tests and serial production with product;
- You set-up the parameters of the all components requiring it (VFD, instrumentation);
- You provide technical training to users;
Project follow-up:
- You prepare all documentation related to the automation part of the project to be included into the full manuals set;
- You respect the global planning and alert of any deviation;
- You participate in the technological follow-up of your activity perimeter.
THE JOB PROFILE
- Field of study (diploma): Industrial automation, engineer;
- Level of experience: 5 to 10 years in a similar position (automated industrial equipment);
- Professional background: food processing, pharmaceutical, cosmetics;
- Main skills:
- In-depth knowledge of automated and robotic systems such as Siemens, Schneider Electric
- Good knowledge of industrial IT, such as Siemens, Wonderware;
- General knowledge of electricity.
- General knowledge of good machine safety practices.
- Good knowledge of dairy process and mechanical design: milk reception, pasteurisation, standardisation, storage, CIP);
- Industry applicable standards;
- Additional skills:
- Strong Upper-Intermediate level of English (speaking, writing), French as an advantage;
- Experience working with international companies;
- Basic knowledge of cheese technology.
- Ability to travel abroad – Central Asia, Eastern Europe, Middle East, CIS Countries;
