The Position
The primary purpose of the role is managing HR Systems and Reporting function, ensuring all HR systems are up to date and well integrated, and reporting is produced in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with the Group Standards.
At the same time, person in this position is reviewed as a change leader to ensure systems and reporting products support management decisions. Function and the team to be viewed as a trusted centre of expertise. The team consists of 3 people. Major systems and tools in use are: Oracle, 1S, SQL. Experience of work with SAP is also beneficial. The applicant will be required to work as part of a team as well as independently on a number of different activities simultaneously.
Principal Responsibilities
Strategy / Governance / Policy:
- Reports to senior management and relevant governing bodies as required
- Contribute in HR Systems and Data strategy that is in line with client and HR needs
- Ensures system security and workflow access strategy and requirements
- Provides HR systems requirements to IT
- Owns headcount reporting processes and relevant definitions
- Contributes into the design/build of reports and dashboards to meet client expectations
- Develops a detailed understanding of reports, underlying data and relevant business rules
Leadership / Management:
- Manages daily HR client reporting requirements
- Monitors output quality and volumes and adherence to agreed service levels
- Evaluates requests for data, and assesses validity of the information that will form the basis for reporting
- Manages HRS Vendors and internal IT relationships
- Manages MIS and Reporting Team to meet objectives
Client / IT / HR Relations:
- Liaises with relevant business, HR and IT units as required
- Utilizes Technology Delivery to introduce efficient production of reports
- Delivers reporting- and analytics- related requirements to IT and acts as their liaison for developing reporting platforms and tools
- Works with IT to design and maintain interfaces to relevant up- and downstream systems
Functional / Process:
- Tracks and resolves programme and project issues
- Interprets future business requirements and defines future systems and data strategies
- Supports the data architecture
- Ensures that data quality issues are resolved in a timely manner
- Delivers ad hoc workforce reports in accordance with agreed service levels
- Interprets future business requirements with regards to HR reporting and analytics
- Provides training to users
- Delivers monthly reporting to senior management
- Blends data from various sources to a user friendly whole
Key Competencies & Qualifications

- Substantial HR reporting and systems experience
- Masters relevant technological tools/applications/methods or is quickly up to speed (Oracle, 1S, business intelligence tools, MS Access, MS Excel, SQL, SPSS or similar tool desirable)

- Sound judgement
- Human Resources and Financial Services knowledge desired
- Ability to work accurately, reliably and with attention to detail
- Strong team player
