Our client that is specializing in the design and manufacture of onsite hydrogen water electrolysers has an opening for Country Sales Manager in Moscow for is start up activities in Russia.
Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Travels, phones and e-mails throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to develop opportunities and solicit orders.
- Develops the Company brand in the assigned territory to make Company the reference for hydrogen generation
- Develops and presents sales presentations outlining features and benefits of the hydrogen generators to prospective customers.
- Maintains accurate sales development records, and provides contact data, sales projections and expense reporting in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from channel partners, other customers and prospects, newspapers, business directories, and other sources.
- Be Company's face on the territory and represent the company in a professional, serious and trustable company
- Other duties as required to successfully perform this role.
Qualifications:
- Sales experience (medium sized capital equipment to industrial clients).
- Good negotiation skills, capability to develop sophistication in the sales process to trigger the sale and maximize margin.
- Ability to identify new sources of business.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales objective and territory/account development.
- Excited about combining business and technical knowledge.
- Able to be creative and push the business forward.
- Able to take the lead and work independently as well as follow the corporate directives.
- Work on its own and independently with a remote organization and management.
- High level of integrity.
- Curious to learn about new technologies and be active in a wide range of industries.
- Willingness to evolve in a niche market with sometimes long sales processes.
- 60% travel expected.
- Language requirements: very good Russian and English knowledge is a must.
- Proficient in using a CRM and digital tools (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics,…).
- Understanding how to pull a project and which channels to setup and develop to make a sale successful.
Education and/or Experience:
- Degree in a technical or economic field or with equivalent work experience.
- Experience in an industrial business (metallurgy, chemicals, petrochemicals,….)
- Minimum 5 years experience or equivalent in motivation
Mathematical Skills:
- Must be able to utilize word processing, spreadsheet and CRM tools and other commonly used business software solutions.
- The computation of hydrogen gas usage, the development of economic payback and the differentiation between economical and non-economical solutions require college level math and science skills.
