Purpose of the job:
As a Q-store Quality Manager you are responsible for leading, developing and managing the Product Quality work in your Q-store region. Your mission will be to increase our customers satisfaction when it comes to how they perceive our product quality. To succeed with this, you need to continuously develop an active cooperation across IKEA units and functions as well as maintain good working relationships with Range & Supply and Purchasing. You will be in the lead of a Regional Q-Store team in which you need to secure that a quality focused mind-set is always guiding your efforts: securing that all product quality related issues are reported into the product development and improvement processes. In other words: you will be the Customer's voice!
Main assignments:
• Work pro-actively across functions to create awareness in all stores about the necessity and the possibilities to report product quality problems.
• Collect, analyse and report quality deviations from all Support Stores and other retail stakeholders and ensure customer-oriented and timely resolutions.
• Ensure relevant and regular feedback for all quality reports to the respective issuers.
• Analyse and communicate Quality KPI performance in the Q-store region; prioritise and initiate actions to improve performance as well as the region's competence.
• Secure the use of updated working methods, rules & guidelines and working templates in the Q-store region.
• Secure the availability of all necessary tools and equipment for efficient work in the Quality department.
• Be the main contact partner for all external/internal stakeholders of the Q-store.
• Secure the use of the Q-store as a platform for competence development by driving the use of relevant working methods, follow-up and feedback strategies as well as hosting regional meetings to enable sharing between stores.
• Actively participate and contribute in the global Recovery & Quality matrix to develop the business along with enabling knowledge and competence sharing between countries.
• Manages a claim process based on customer's reports and quality analysis and inspections
• Ensure competence development and succession planning for the Product Quality Technicians.
Requirements:
• Experience in working with customers in a retail or service environment.
• Very good understanding of the product quality deviation process and the roles of the involved stakeholders.
• Extensive knowledge of the different processes on store and country level and how they contribute to the product quality deviation process.
• Experience with working across functions.
• Ability to see the big picture.
• Self-reliant with a proven ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
• Ability to communicate confidently and clearly in English.
• Experience in creating and implementing solutions and following up goals.
• Ability to solve problems and to find new ways of working by identifying better solutions and/or ideas.
• Ability to train and develop the competence of others.
• Service-minded and willing to provide support.
• Team leadership experience.
• Fluent English both written and verbal.
