A multinational with solid positions on the Russian market in its key product categories is strengthening presence at the moment. The company is inviting sales professionals with an all-round background in retail channels development, including cash&carry, DIY, e-commerce, etc. to take part in the selection process for the role.
The role contributes to the business development, sales development and implementation of the region's e-commerce and retail customers / prospects, in line with overall sales strategy (T.O by product line, margins, profitability); develop relationships and manage the assigned customers in designated region/market.
The JOB:
- Concentrate largely on three channels: federal retail chains, onmichannel/e-commerce, own internet store, setting sales targets and strategies for respective sales divisions and demonstrating leadership
- Map out business opportunities and sales development potentials, new business development
- Manage annual order contracts and commercial initiatives for assigned customers
- Foster initiative with the team to develop commercial and promotional ideas to have improved business growth rates
- Responsible for the turnover and profitability of the customers
- Ensure improved business processes in sales operations, specific to channels, develop and adapt KPIs, budget owner
- Establish, organize and drive a peer to peer contact relationship between each key support function of the customer and those of the company (Marketing, General Management, IT, Logistics, Finance) in order to focus the whole organization to provide solutions that ensure a long term sustainable growth path for the assigned accounts / customers
- Key Interfaces: Internal: Customer service, marketing, supply chain and logistics, technical support, Product management, KAM; external: Customers
- Analyze customer portfolio in terms of potential, needs, development, further cross selling and demand for pull activities.
The Person:
- Minimum/Essential: 10 year experience into the consumer goods sector as Sales manager/Director with focus on retail/e-tail channels
- Personal sales success with top 10 accounts and related to E-tail or Retail business
- Expert understanding of the full value chain and value distribution from manufacturer to retailer & store
- Leader, well-versed with a complex value delivery structure in a large organization
- Desirable: From multinational business, especially small domestic appliances large SKU portfolio
- MS office, XLS, PPT, BW, SAP, Fluent English
