Summary: The primary objective of this position is to provide Professional Services and Level II technical support for CQG customers using Continuum product suite.
Responsibilities:
- Works with customers to perform Conformance Testing to CQG’s APIs
- Analyzes and troubleshoots internal and external problems related to FIX and API interfaces and escalates when necessary
- Works with sales, development, and operations to integrate new customers and products
- Provides efficient technical support via telephone, email, and at the customer site for escalated issues regarding CQG’s APIs
Education, Experience, Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- 2+ years of Object Oriented MS Windows C++ or C# or Java development
- Extensive knowledge of FIX Protocol including FIX 4.2 and Google Protobuf
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux platform technologies
- Strong understanding of the financial markets.
- Knowledge of distributed application architectures is a plus
- Knowledge and application of software development methodology is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English; both spoken and written is required
