Purpose of the job:
Lead the growth of the IKEA web presence in the country in co-operation with all functions involved (e.g. e-commerce).
Ensure a seamless and integrated IKEA experience throughout all online contacts so that the IKEA Brand becomes the natural first choice for home furnishing inspiration, dialogue and product choice on the web, thereby contributing to the overall IKEA marketing and business objectives.
Be a strong contributor to the country marketing team, develop the web channel strategies and secure that they are executed in the most effective and efficient way.
Main assignments:
• Lead and develop local web and other digital touch-points including social media securing compatibility
with all digital devices, focusing on customer experience;
• Based on commercial and identified additional local needs, create relevant content at the right time on
the right place and lead content adaptation;
• Actively promote IKEA digital tools in multichannel environment;
• Actively follow-up digital performance both for own web campaigns and external;
• Actively use digital touch points to connect commercial and inspirational content and functionality,
creating an appealing user experience that would successfully drive and convert more visitors to happy
customers, irrespectively of when, where and how the customers will buy;
• Monitor the digital channels performance and provide insights, data and analysis to relevant
stakeholders;
• Create high-quality graphic communications and web design;
Requirements:
• Digital, online, ecommerce and/or IT experience;
• Experienced user of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and other graphical design software;
• Up-to-date knowledge of online technologies and applications (e.g. search, social, mobile, e-commerce);
• Process and organizational thinking;
• Prioritization and decision making skills;
• Analytical, strategic and creative-thinking skills;
• Ability to create and express statistical and communication insights;
• Self-reliant and motivated with proven ability to work as a part of a team as well as independently;
• Ability to communicate confidently and clearly in English;
