As Assistant Director of Finance and Business support, you’ll direct the financial operations of the hotel and ensure the security of hotel assets. Reporting on the financial state of hotel you'll also make recommendations to improve hotel profitability. You'll be the point of contact for all hotel financial - and accounting-related issues with owners, auditors (internal and external) and regulatory agencies.
Responsibilities:
Reports Production:
- Monthly financial analysis of financial data (Actual)
- Forecast preparation
- Preparing of presentations, reports and comments on financial performance on a regular basis
Involvement into key commercial finance tasks:
- P&L models for new business opportunities;
- Assisting CFO with any commercial requests
- Participation in Budget/Forecast preparation
Facilitation and involvement into Control Process:
- Ensure quality of accruals are made on a monthly basis
- Ensure budget control is maintained
Participation in Operational Finance:
- Works with procurement team, logistics and operations to collect the data and develop the analysis;
- Coordination with the sales department and follow up of any changes to the agreements with customers (prices, credit terms);
- Daily support of treasury operations
- Calculation of allowances, adjustments, accruals for financial closing in accordance with IFRS
Essential requirements:
- Expert-level analytical and financial modeling skills
- Strategic thinking and ability to produce presentations
- Knowledge of ERP systems or related technologies
- Ability to multitask and meet constant deadlines
- Willingness to work long hours, when necessary
- Knowledge of Russian Accounting (ability to form Accounting reports)
- Background in finance (as a financial analyst), in-depth knowledge of big data and data analytical systems to explore historical financial data
Requirements:
- High education (Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics)
- Knowledge of RAS/IFRS
- Strong (over 2 years) experience in the similar position with multinational company
- Good knowledge of the financial analysis approach and methodology
- English: upper-intermediate level
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft package especially Excel
- Strong analytical skills
- Personal skills: Mature, solutions driven, stress tolerant, with sense of responsibilities / able to anticipate needs and forecast necessary work to perform , proactive, structural thinking, energetic, team player, able to multitask with tough deadlines
- The candidate should be ready for occasional business trips
