This is an exciting time to join us! BI Developer will be responsible for working with peers, functional team and business units to: identify user requirements, design, develop and test reports/solutions to support business processes
This will include, but not limited to, analyzing and understanding business challenges, mapping current business processes to new systems, identifying business process and organizational change impacts, and resolving issues that affect business processes.
Responsibilities:
- As a Business Intelligence developer, you will participate in all phases of BI solution implementation based on Microsoft Business Intelligence stack and other BI tools.
- Analyze and evaluate detailed business and technical requirements.
- Design, develop and support the development of different kind of reports and visualizations that address business needs.
- Participate in the analysis and development of data architecture and warehousing approaches.
- Provide on-going technical support of ETL and reporting processes, using architecture best practices and responding to changing business requirements.
- Work closely with business and IT stakeholders in a collaborative, team environment to envision and implement modern BI platform architectures.
- Perform research and development with new technologies to ensure the most effective analytics for the business users.
We expect:
- Knowledge of OLAP and OLTP systems concepts.
- Extensive knowledge of business intelligence best practices, processes, tools, standards and methodologies.
- A strong technical background with proven proficiency for designing Business Intelligence systems using the Microsoft BI stack (3+ years):
- SQL Server 2012-2016: deep knowledge and experience in T-SQL, data warehouse design, performance tuning.
- SSAS Multidimensional and Tabular: proficient in developing SSAS models, strong MDX and DAX experience, including advanced query concepts and query performance tuning.
- SSRS: ability to develop reports with complex navigation and ergonomic design.
- Power BI: at least 1 year hands-on work experience, ability to develop actionable visualizations with strong emphasis on UI and UX design.
- Strong skills in one of the following ETL tools: SSIS or Informatica PowerCenter.
- Experience with version control systems (git, TFS).
- Understand project development life cycle and Agile methodologies.
Additional skills/experience in one or more following areas will be a plus:
- IT consulting or FMCG company experience.
- Experience with SharePoint 2013 for BI portal: managing and administering sites, permissions, roles, reports, web parts, subscriptions.
- Experience in C# or JavaScript.
- Experience with Master Data Services or/and Data Quality Services.
- Knowledge and experience in SAP BW or/and SAP ECC is a huge plus.
- Knowledge of basic Machine learning algorithms. Experience with Python or R is an additional plus.
- MCSE certification in Businesses Intelligence (nice to have).
