CSST Key Account Manager
The Key account manager is accountable for building customer relationship and insight with the more complex customers, in the “Growth Driver’s” segment for the complete CSST Europe product portfolio. Commercial accountability include reaching margin & volume targets and establishing growth through innovation. Furthermore, accountability involves deploying marketing tools such as customer account plans & segmentation, delivering value propositions, and gaining industry knowledge and translating this back into the wider commercial organization. Sales execution starts at pre contracting phase and end with payment of the invoice.
Responsibilities and Duties:
DEEP CUSTOMER INSIGTH & RELATIONSHIP-40%
Built insight & intimate relationship through customer visits.
Integrate insight in visit reports, customer account plan, CRM system and feed commercial organization with relevant information. Strong focus on creating customer value propositions and applying the 3-pack approach with support of business marketing and technical service in the opportunity space we want to play.
Identify demand and integrate knowledge in specific region and/or market.
ACHIEVING COMMERCIAL GROWTH TARGETS-20%
Plan for continuous growth. Set budget together with the Team Lead Key Accounts.
Achieve margin and volume targets.
Plan and execute innovation-based growth.
SALES EXECUTION & CONTRACT EXCELLENCE-30%
Accountable for managing all steps in sales effectiveness process. Starting with pre-contracting discussion on terms & conditions, negotiate and conclude a sale, contract entry, until execution and payment of the contract. Appropriately involve Sales assistants and other support functions, like contract admin desk during the process.
Manage credit and counterparty risk management.
OTHER – Meetings, etc.- 10%
Travel 20 - 40%
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- University Graduate / Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 5 - 7 years B2B experience in Sales environment (ingredients, food industrial)
- Relevant product knowledge
- Good understanding of process orientation
- Strong ability to implement the techniques and tools from sales effectiveness
- Must have English Language both written and speaking. Preferably second language relevant for the region of sales.
