RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Work closely with the Russian localization vendor.
-Daily checks of changes to English strings in the string database to identify and make easy fixes to the Russian, reducing the volume to be sent to an external vendor
-Monitor the projects and assure that quality and deadlines are met
-Work on the task set by the Localization Lead and assist in various projects.
-Enter errors in the bug tracking system based on department standards.
-Handling emergency translation as required by dev.
-Work on emergency test requests on the Russian build of the game as requested by the QA Department or other Leads, and identify localization game issues and errors (bugs).
-Learn and become fluent in the rules of the game.
REQUIRED:
-Experience working in Localization in the gaming industry
-Native speaker with strong language skills in Russian.
-Strong English verbal and written skills.
-Proficient with MS Office.
-Ability to make clear and consistent reports and provide them to the Localization Lead.
-Ability to remain focused and maintain attention to details.
-Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
-Thorough understanding of game testing and localization testing processes.
-Solid understanding of the market and a passion for video games.
-Broad knowledge of games across different platforms.
