The Project Management Office (PMO) Manager reporting to the CEO of Russia, will be responsible for three clear focus areas and deliverables: Change management, Project management office, Communications.
Responsibilities
- To develop key relationships with both internal and external clients
- Deliver change solutions that combine the right levers to accelerate the rate of change organisationally
- Support, coach and assist in the development and execution of change management plans for transformation and major projects
- Educate project owners, leaders and stakeholders in the change management and project methodology and Sodexo’s approach to change and project management
- Monitor progress of design and implementation of change management, project management and communication plans
- Act as “keeper” of the change management methodology and project management methodology
- Assist with and coach on the development of communication for approved projects
- Drive communications for the broader business transformation
- Ensure all change management and communications activities are aligned with Sodexo’s values and the goals of the Australian business
- Manage the implementation of the communication of the bi annual employee engagement surveys in conjunction with the internal communications co - orndiator.
- Develop a comprehensive internal and external communications strategy which effectively supports the delivery of the overall business strategy.
- Create a single, comprehensive internal communications plan to co-ordinate all related communications activity, and ensure it is updated and shared with relevant stakeholders on a regular basis.
- To lead the communications response to the Staff Survey to ensure that necessary actions retain a high profile throughout the organisation.
- Work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to plan future communications activity and provide strategic communications advice and support.
- Measure the overall impact of communications on employees and recommend or implement improvements where appropriate.
- Ensure an effective communication plan is in place for the PMO and broader Sodexo community and ensure it is delivered through a variety of ongoing channels.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
- Demonstrable organisational change management experience over a period of 5+ years
- Demonstatable Project management experience over a period of 5+ years
- Relevant tertiary qualification (Organisational Development/ Change Management, Project management methodology such as agile etc)
- Demonstrable influencing and negotiation skills at executive and local operational levels
- Strong written and verbal communications skills and the ability to deliver messages targeted at all levels of the organisation
- Must have the ability and be prepared to be ‘hands on’
- Experienced change coach at all levels
- High acumen in PC systems and as a minimum, intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, relevant publishing platforms skills as well as have the ability to learn new software systems e.g. SharePoint.
- Exceptional administration, multi-task, flexibility, coordination and problem solving skills
- Excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing with the ability and gravitas to operate at all levels of the business
- A self-starter - able to work to tight deadlines and manage projects independently
- Strong skills and experience in managing projects – able to balance the ‘hard’ and ‘soft’ skills of managing projects so that plans are well-laid and executed and that stakeholders are fully engaged and communicated with. Also needs to be able to manage several projects simultaneously
- Good organisational skills and excellent attention to detail – thinks ahead and pre-empts possible setbacks and obstacles
- Track record of successfully supporting departments/functions within a business in improving internal change processes and collaboration, drawing upon effective consulting skills, project management and communications know-how
- Strong knowledge of change management and project management
